This experience is about dreams and passion. Your hosts are Kristin and Fred Bowen and Jan Geenan. Kristin is a certified Hatha yoga teacher who along with her husband Fred share a great passion for food, wine and travel. Lovers of Italy, particularly Tuscany, both have dreamed of one day hosting an intimate Italian travel experience sharing their curated finds with those who wish to discover the road a little less traveled. Both will serve as your travel consultants, guides and companions on this journey. In addition, Kristin will lead the group in daily yoga overlooking the Val d’Orcia, while Fred will be the bartender and educator of the amazing regional wines. After a successful career in finance that took him around the globe, Jan Geenan is an ex-pat from Deutschland who followed his dream of opening a boutique bed and breakfast in Italy. Jan is fluent in both English and Italian and will serve as our host at his beautifully restored villa in the tiny town of Campiglia d’Orcia. Tuscany’s Orcia Valley or the Val d’Orcia, an Unesco World Heritage Site, will be our touring ground to discover small little-known hilltowns and others you may have heard of. The southernmost valley in Tuscany, the Val d’Orcia, named for the Orcia River that flows through it, is the most undiscovered by tourists in Tuscany, yet seen in many movies.
